RM Equity Partners (RMEP) has launched a strategic multi-month AI learning and activation program in partnership with Berlin-based consultancy 9X. The initiative is designed to equip employees across its portfolio companies with the mindset, curiosity, and foundational skills needed to navigate and benefit from an emerging agentic era of AI-powered tools.
The program consists of three phases: a company-wide introductory course, an advanced AI & automation training track for selected participants, and a hands-on hackathon where top learners will build practical automations for real-world use cases. The goal is to foster AI fluency at scale and empower employees to actively shape how AI enhances productivity and operations in their day-to-day work.
“We want to create the conditions for employees across all levels and companies in our portfolio to engage with AI confidently and constructively,” said Eugen Russ, Managing Partner at RMEP. “This initiative is a first step toward integrating AI in a way that is pragmatic, responsible, and deeply relevant to our business context.”
In parallel with the training initiative, RMEP has also introduced a bi-weekly internal knowledge-sharing format. During these sessions, employees from across the portfolio present real-life examples of AI tools and automations already in use. The aim is to connect learning with practice, and to showcase how AI is already delivering value in various roles and functions.
The learning program kicked off in early August and will run through December 2025, concluding with a one-week onsite hackathon for select participants.
