Bergfex Sees Strong Organic Growth Despite Google AI Overview – Hiking Trend Remains Intact

Bergfex, the outdoor platform backed by RM Equity Partners (RMEP), recorded a notable increase in user activity during the third quarter of 2025. Despite the broader rollout of Google AI Overview, Bergfex achieved a 10 percent rise in organic traffic and, for the first time, surpassed 75 million sessions within a single quarter.
One of the main growth drivers was once again hiking: sessions in the Bergfex Tours app increased by 25 percent compared to the same period last year. This confirms the continued relevance of outdoor activities and the sustained public interest in nature-based recreation. The platform benefits from a loyal user base and strong regional engagement across key Alpine markets.
